Visakhapatnam, August 10, 2007

Visiting on August 11 and 12 to Steel Plant

The Union Ministry of Steel Secretary, RS Pandey will visit Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on August 11 and 12 to review the progress of the ongoing 6.3 million ton capacity expansion works.

He will visit the expansion area with the top officials of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and will hold discussions with the top management on August 11 on the issues related to expansion and corporate social responsibility.

Special Secretary and Financial Advisor, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel will also be accompanying Pandey during his visit to the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and participate in the discussions. Ministry of Steel Deputy Secretary, N Vijayalakshmi on Friday visited the nearby villages of the VSP where it is constructing a community hall, school building and school building. She also reviewed the corporate social responsibility activities of the plant and interacted the villagers.
