Plans to publish dictionary on the words used

The Special Officer of the Annamacharya Project, Bhooman of TTD said that three thousand more keerthanas of Annamacharya will be brought out in the form of Compact Disks. He said that 14,000 out of 38,000 keerthanas were available and a plan was also on to avail to publish a dictionary used by the composer.

He said this at a programme organized by TTD on Wednesday to gather views of people from cultural and literary circles on the 600th birth anniversary celebration of Annamacharya next year. Nearly 65 prominent persons from the north coastal districts gave suggestions at the meeting.

The Director of Cultural Affairs RK Prasad said that earlier meetings conducted at Vijayawada and Hyderabad evoked very good response for the project. The Regional Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations, Ch Johnson, TTD Executive Engineer Jayachandraiah and prominent persons were present in the meeting.
