Joint Collector conducts review meeting

The Joint Collector, M Veerabrahmaiah on Tuesday directed the officials in a review meeting on the land acquisition process. He directed the officials to speed up land acquisition process and hand over the same to the Defence Estate Officer for establishment of another Naval Base.

During the meeting, he emphasized the need for hastening the process of land acquisition for SEZs at Naval Base in Rambilli mandal, Pedederu Medium Irrigation Scheme and minor irrigation schemes and taking possession forthwith after payment of compensation.

The Joint Collector also directed the officials to compensate the displaced persons immediately. The District Revenue Officer M Satyanarayana and Irrigation Superintending Engineer K Damoda Rao and other top officials were present in the meeting.
