VUDA to retain the model house; Other 87 houses up for auction

The model house in the Bay View Abodes, the first row house venture being built by Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority at Rushikonda is attracting many people including NRIs. As a part of marketing strategy, VUDA which is constructing 88 houses, each of three bed duplex with partial sea view made necessary painting and furnishing of the model house having the best east facing location for public viewing.

Meanwhile, VUDA has decided to retain the model unit and put up the other 87 houses for auction on August 23, 26 and 27. Sources say that as many as 200 applications were sold till Saturday last. The units are built on 173 square yards with 2066 square feet and 202 sq.yards with 2,386 sft are priced at Rs. 56 lakhs to Rs.65 lakhs. There is an overwhelming response especially from NRIs with several hits on VUDA's website and inquiries over phone.

Global Entropolis is developing villas and flats with gated community on 80 acres, Jurong's Singapore township project worth 2043 flats in ten blocks on 40 acres and several other projects are proposed in and around Rushikonda, the sources said.
