Operations to begin from August 8, 2007
The Indian Airlines will operate direct flights from Mumbai and Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam from August 8, 2007. This will be major move for the Visakhapatnam Aviation sector as Vizagities have long been waiting for the start of such a service. Despite the start of the new operations, there will be no change in the timings of other flights operating to and from the city.
According to sources, the Flight No. IC 513 will leave Mumbai at 6.55am and arrive Visakhapatnam at 8.40am and Flight No.514 will leave Visakhapatnam at 12.55pm and arrive at Mumbai at 2.40pm. The Flight No. IC 516 will leave Visakhapatnam at 9.20am and reach Hyderabad at 10.20am and Flight No. IC 515 will leave Hyderabad at 11.15am and reach Visakhapatnam at 12.15pm.
