Cell meant for effective implementation of Domestic Violence Act, 2005

A Legal Aid Cell was constituted by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) for the effective implementation of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

The members of the committee are R Kanta Rao, District Judge and Chairman of DLSA, MR Saravana Kumar, Secretary of DLSA, N Sambasiva Rao, City Police Commissioner, A Sabharwal, SP, R Krishna Kumari, Public Prosecutor, District Judge Court, D Saraswathi Devi, C Uma Devi, KJVLNP Ratnam and PG Bhavani, advocates, AE Roberts (Protection Officer, P.D. & CWDA) and J Murali, Project Director of DRDA.

Aggrieved women can approach the DLSA on the District Court premises or contact the Protection Officer on mobile number 94408 14575.
