Buses connecting to Kakinada increases to 12
The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has introducing two more hi-tech buses to Kakinada. The lack of interest by the Railway authorities to improving their services has come as an opportunity to APSRTC. The APSRTC Regional Manager, N Venkateswara Rao said that they have introduced the service few days ago and with this, the total number of buses plying to Kakinada from Visakhapatnam rises to 12.
While the RTC's Visakhapatnam Depot operates six buses, including five Hi-tech and one Deluxe bus, the East Godavari Regional operates four Hi-tech and two Deluxe buses. The additional buses were pressed into service due to increased passenger traffic between the two segments.
