Nearly 60 Vedic pundits and students to participate

A two day Uttarandhra Vedic Sammelan will be held at Vasavi Kalyana Mandapam in Gajapatinagaram of Viziangaram district on April 7 and 8. Nearly 60 Vedic pundits belonging o the three districts of Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam and nearly 40 Vedic students of the region studying in Veda Pathasalas from various temple towns are likely to participate.

This Vedic Sammelan is the eighth annual Sammelan and the Trust and Arya Vysya Sangham in Gajapatinagaram would organize it jointly said the Uttarandhra Veda Vidya Trust D. Bhakara Murty. A procession of Vedic pundits, students and local people of Gajapatinagaram will be taken out on the first day from Vasavi Kalyanamandapam an it will be followed by Chaturveda Parayana by the pundits for universal peace and harmony.

Mahajana Sabha will be held in the evening and Sadguru Kandukuri Sivananda Murthy of Anandavanam from Bheemunipatnam will honour the scholars. Former Chairman of Bar Council of India, DV Subbarao will deliver the valedictory address.
