Bishoni spearheads VSP

On Monday, PK Bishoni assumed charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, the holding company of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. Prior to joining to RINL as Director (Finance) he worked with Larsen and Toubro, Planning Commission and Balmer Lawrie and Company ltd., in various capacities.

He has been spearheading the VSP's efforts in implementing enterprise resource planning and joint venture initiatives for SMS grade limestone, coking coal, ferro manganese etc., He was the Chairman of the Ministry of Steel Appointed Committee to recommend supplies of coking coal to SAIL and RINL.
