SSC spot valuation disrupt for the second day
The SSC spot valuation was disrupted on the second day in the north Andhra Coastal districts due to the call teachers boycott call given by the Joint Action Committee of Teachers Organizations. (JACTO). Out of 1500 teachers, only 350 attended the spot valuation in Visakhapatnam. The Visakhapatnam DEO MR Prasanna Kumar said that only 20 percent of the teachers are attending the spot valuation.
According to the DEO of Vizianagaram S Anandha Murty said that the spot valuation was conducted with 117 unaided and government teachers against the actual requirement of 1300. The teachers unions including UTF, PRTU, APTF, APUS, STU, PITA, DTF and HMA staged a dharna in front of the DEO's office demanding solution for the long pending demands.
DEO of Srikakulam Sheik Jaleel Saheb said that the spot valuation was conducted with 163 teachers on the second day against the total requirement of 1350 teachers. According to him SGT and Grade 2 teachers who have three years teaching experience in Mathematics, Social Studies, Telugu and Hindi subjects of Class X can attend the spot valuation and they can get temporary orders directly from the DEO.
