Charged for accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000

The officials of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday trapped and arrested the Curator of Indira Gandhi Zoological Park B. Vijaya Kumar for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000 from a Senior Contractor.

According to complainant by P. Appanna, the curator has demanded Rs. 20,000 to give him the contract of private security guards at the Zoo for which he agreed to pay Rs. 10,000. Based on this information, the officials of ACB laid a trap and caught the Curator red handedly while he is accepting the bribe. The curator is being arrested.
