Valedictory held at VSP

The CISF unit of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) organized the valedictory of the Fire Services Week at the main fire station at VSP on Friday .VSP director (Finance) PK Bishnoi who was the Chief Guest stressed the need for the better safety awareness among the public and Steel Plant employees.

Speaking on the occasion, he congratulated the CISF's fire wing on the efforts to reduce the loss of property to the minimum in mishaps. He released a booklet on fire safety. CISF senior commandant AS Chelladurai, Assistant Commandant TS Rawat an Deputy Commandant SN Chanda were present on the occasion.

The Fire Service Week valedictory function was held at HPCL-Visakha Refinery. Various fire prevention and protection awareness programmes were conducted during the week long celebrations. This includes training on fire safety and fire fighting on simulated models for CISF staff and an exhibition on fire and safety equipment. On this occasion, a special safety bulletin on Fire Service Day was released.
