Four persons killed and five others seriously injured in the immersion festival

Four persons died and five others were seriously injured in a road accident that took place at Yandapallivalasa of Araku Manda in the district on Wednesday night. According police sources, a van in which the deceased and others were taking a Ganesh idol for immersion was hit by a lorry from behind. Four persons died on the spot and the other one while taking to King George Hospital (KGH). All the injured were admitted in the KGH for treatment.
