Enjoyed the musical and cultural performances

The seashore at Sagarnagar on Saturday became more resplendent with the huge crowds of people and cultural programmes for the mega event ISKCON Utsav organized by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Visakhapatnam centre to mark Dasara celebrations. Thousands of people gathered at the ISKCON Land and enjoyed the musical and cultural performances that came from all over the State. People invoked the blessings of Lord Krishna and Ram, Lakshman and Sita in whose name special rituals and homams were performed.

Geetha Parayanam, Raghava Kalyanam, a dance ballet and bhajans by renowned singer Nityasantoshini regaled the audience. There are more cultural events in store for the participants in the remaining two days of the three day festival and the burning of a 50 foot tall effigy of Ravan on Monday will mark the occasion.
