Festival to promote Indian culture

International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISCON) will be organizing a mega three day Utsav from September 30 at Sagarnagar. The Visakhapatnam ISKCON president Samba Das said on Wednesday that the main objective of the festival being organized for the first time in the city was to promote Indian Culture and create awareness about the activities of ISKCON. He said that nearly 50,000 visitors and devotees were expected to attend the festival.

Delegates from 60 countries were also expected to attend the mega Utsav. The stalls would display indigenous products, spiritual articles and commercial items by the participating companies. He said that there would be Gita Parayanam and Bhajans on all the three days.
