Decision taken in Zilla Parishad Meeting
Addressing Zilla Parishad standing committee meeting on Wednesday, the Zilla Parishad (ZP) Chairman Gorle Ramamurthy Naidu asked the ZPTCs to find out the civic problems being faced by people and bring the same to the notice of the officials concerned so as to enable them to pass necessary actions.
The District Educational Officer R Surender Reddy said that there were 4693 schools in the district and 58948 children were joined in Class I this year. He said DSC examination would be held on September 9, 2006 for appointment of 865 teachers and all necessary steps have been taken to prevent shortage of text books.
Joint Director of Agriculture B.Venkat Rao said crop loans amount to Rs.310 crore would be disbursed to 23,242 farmers in the current season and all steps have taken to prevent scarcity of seeds and other inputs.
