Theater owners given permission to operate

Even as the theatre owners continued their protest against the decision of the district administration to close six theatres in the city for lack of facilities, the management of Leelamahal theatre at Dabagardens on Monday submitted the rectification report and got clearance from the Joint Collector.

The officials inspected the theatre and allowed them to reopen. The decision of the Joint Collector’s action in this regard received mixed response from various sections of people.
