Discuss their problems with Commercial Tax Minister
The Cine Theaters owners called of their three days strike following an agreement over their demands with the District Administration on Tuesday. After conclusion of talks with the Revenue Divisional Officer, M Venkateswara Rao, the district administration has given permission to Raj Kamal, Poorna, Leela Mahal and Sri Rama talkies by 10 am on Wednesday on payment of Rs.10,000 penalty and a week days time was given to rectify the defects identified by the officials during their visit.
A meeting has been fixed with the Commercial Tax Minister Konathala Ramakrishna on September 25 to discuss further demands. According to theatres’ owners, the strike had caused Rs.2 lakhs per day and Rs.20 lakhs per day for distributors.
Cine goers, particularly the fans of Chiranjeevi are happy at the Theaters being re-opened. It may be recalled that Chiranjeevi's latest movie Stalin is scheduled for release on September 20, 2006.
