Suravaram Sudhakar seeks expert panel on Telangana
Addressing a press conference on Friday, the CPI MP Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy has demanded a separate development package be announced for Telangana region and form a regional council wherein MLAs of the region would discuss about budget and development issues. Regarding withdrawing support to the UPA Government, he said that the party would not indulge in black mail politics despite it has differences with the ruling alliance.
As far as national issues are concerned, he said that the Central Government should ensure transparency of all bilateral agreements made with other countries, for this purpose, the agreements should be put for debate in the Parliament. There should be no secrecy at all on the aspect of governance.
CPI State Secretary K.Narayana said the party would not tolerate any further deprivation and oppression of the poor and the weaker sections. He warned that the party activists would once lay siege to the port site if the cases pending on its leaders were not withdrawn within a week.
