JC seeks cooperation from all departments

The war against mosquitoes has commenced with the public servants constituting 7688 teams. One health worker is assigned for every 250 people found positive for viral fevers and suspected cases of dengue fever.

The District Administration has taken steps to distribute medicines to 37.14 lakh out of the 41.26 lakh population in the district. Speaking at a meeting on mass drug administration, the Joint Collector Sandeep K Sultania said that focus is to be laid on spreading awareness on the modes of transmission of the disease and precautions to be taken. He stressed the need for people’s representatives and employees and workers of all departments concerned to contribute their mite in controlling the diseases.
