Minister Konathala says focus needs to be laid on sanitation

The State Government has sanctioned Rs. 10 lakhs to expand Anti-larval measures under Operation Dengue in the district.

Addressing a review meeting, the Minister for Commercial Taxes, Konathala Ramakrishna exhorted the District Officials to take fogging on a large scale and spread awareness among the people to enable them to combat the disease. He said that the focus will be laid on sanitation to check the proliferation of mosquitoes which have been spreading deadly ailments like dengue. Top district officials have participated in the meeting.
