Awarded for excellence in management system

The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) has won the commendation certificate for its efforts in promoting the concept of excellence in management system and sustaining competitiveness. The Chairman and Managing Director, Y. Siva Sagar Rao received the certificate at a function held at Bangalore on Thursday at the ‘CII-EXIM Bank Award for Business Excellence – 2006’.

According to a press release said this recognition reiterated the commitment of the leadership and collective of VSP in making it a world class entity. The Award was jointly established by the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Export-Import Bank of India in 194 to enhance the competitiveness of Indian Industries.
