More stress on green revolution

A seminar on environmental protection and regulations was organized by the Visakhapatnam chapter of the Association of British Scholars on Thursday. Nirupa Rani, Vice Chancellor of Adikavi Nannayya University inaugurated the seminar. R. Venkata Rao, Principal of AU College of Law and K. Singh, deputy director of British Council, South India participated in the occasion.

Nirupa Rani stressed the need to conserve environmental and adopt sustainable lifestyles to protect bio diversity. She asserted that the United Kingdom is committed to the environmental conservation, and it would provide leadership in this regard by reducing carbon dioxide emission by sixty percent.
