Special children visit to ENC

The Navy Week Celebrations commenced at the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) on Friday. Nearly 75 children and 20 teachers of Sankalp, Arunodaya Special School, Omkar and Lions School for Deaf and Lebenshile, had first hand account of the combat capabilities of the Indian Army.

Sobhana Deshpande, wife of Naval Dockyard Admiral Superintendent Rear Admiral Dilip Deshpande interacted with the children aboard the ships who were given a guided walk and educated about the fleet activities through photographs. She distributed prizes to children who exhibited their talent in solo and group dances, singing and dancing.
