The Master Signal Operators’ (MSO) Welfare Association has demanded the State Government to appoint a committee to introduce a licensing system for cable TV operators and a single window for payment of various taxes.
Speaking to media, the Association State President Y. Sree Kumar said that the government has no clarity regarding taxes being levied on the MSO and cable operators. He stressed the need to constitute a committee to look into all matters pertaining to the Cable TV industry which is still unorganized. He said he would soon meet the Chief Minister and submit a memorandum in this regard.
