Nine team across the country participate

All India Inter-Steel Shuttle Badminton Championship 2006-07 was inaugurated by the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) Director (Personnel) KA Naidu at Ukkunagaram Stadium Sports Complex on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that with the increase in sports awareness among people, the VSP management was encouraging employees and their families to participate in sports event. Before declaring the championship open, he received the salute from the participants. Nine team representing various steel plants in the country are participating in the tournament.
