Union Minister to inaugurate the meet

The doctors in the State are planning to devise a strategy to face the problems caused by the family members of patients who die while undergoing treatment. Problems of doctors pertaining to professional protection, social security and other welfare measures will be discussed at State level conference of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) that will commence from November 11, 2006.

The Union Minister of State for Mines, T. Subbirami Reddy will inaugurate the conference at AMCOSA auditorium. The conference organizing secretary and IMA national working committee member N. Subramanyam speaking to media said doctors were facing several problems while discharging their duties which would be discussed at the two day conference. Nearly 1000 doctors who are registered with IMA in the State will attend the conference, he said.
