Bodies retrieved from debris

Four persons were killed and one was critically injured in a wall collapse at Simhagiri Colony at Arilova on Wednesday night.

The person, one Apparao who received serious injuries was rushed to the King George Hospital (KGH). A massive chunk of a newly constructed retaining wall fell on a house located at the foothill killing the four. A family staying adjacent to the ill fated house alerted the inmates about the stone that came down a minutes before the incident. But there was no time for them to come out before it took place.

The bodies were retrieved from the debris even as it rained under the influence of trough in Bay of Bengal. Three town police are investigating the case.
