Jawan laid his life in operation Meghdoot

Army and Navy authorities on Monday paid floral tributes to Army jawan Jayaram Bachala who died in operation ‘Meghdoot’ at Siachin Glacier. Wreaths were placed and full State honors were given to the mortal remains of the Army jawan at INS Dega.

A ceremonial guard of the Navy performed the solemn drill of ‘Shok Shastra’, sounding last post, followed by two minutes silence. On behalf of ENC Flag Officer Commanding in Chief wreaths were placed. Man Navy and Army officers were present.
