ERP Project to facilitate better integration of activities

An Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) has been launched at Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) that will provide an integrated enterprise solution utilizing a new generation ERP product which will be used by all utilities for business functions.

The VSP Chairman and Managing Director Y. Siva Sagara Rao launched the logo to mark the occasion. An ERP core team was put in place for implementation to achieve integration of various functions like production, materials management, human resources, marketing and finance. It will be implemented with a couple of years to derive the benefits.
