Campus recruitment at AU Convocation Hall

The EMRI will be conducting campus recruitment at AU Convocation Hall and Ambedkar Hall on November 22 and 23 for Andhra University students from Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and East and West Godavari Districts.

The Vice Chancellor of Andhra University (AU) L. Venugopal Reddy said that nearly 200 persons will be recruited during the placement drive and a three month training will be given to the selected candidates. 80 new emergency vehicles will be introduced by the EMRIs in the above districts and it requires graduates in life sciences, general nursing and physiotherapy for the post emergency medical technicians. The salary would be around Rs.4000pm for the above posts during the training period. Later they will be paid Rs.7000pm. He said for the posts of communication officer and dispatch officer, candidates with degree in any discipline along with good communication skills are eligible and the salary will be around Rs.9000pm.

There are five vacant district coordinator posts who need a qualification of degree in any discipline, good English and marketing skills. The experience is between 3 to 5 years and they will be paid Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000pm after completion of training. Nearly 140 drivers will be selected during the recruitment drive at the EMRI Cell in the District Collectorate on November 19.
