Strategic marketing and speedy decisions attributed for success

The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) announced it has registered a turnover of Rs. 680 crores for the month of May 2006. This is considered 43% growth compared to the same period last year which is at Rs. 474 crores.

Production of hot metal is at 3.28 tonnes, liquid steel at 2.85 tonnes and saleable steel at 2.60 for May 2006.

The improved impressive performance was attributed for the initiatives and steps taken by the strategic marketing team alongside speedy decision making abilities of the plant.
