To expand with the help of fanchises
VETA, an English training academy will launch its centre in the city. In a press conference on Thursday, VETA executive director KV Rajan said that the academy has drawn up a plan to open its centres in all States. He said that estimates put the market for English training at Rs.1500 crores with IT enabled services and retail sector offering big openings in employment. He said besides, foundation fluent English and VETA Pro for professionals, it has other courses to suit emerging needs. The fee structure is decided upon classification as metros, and A and B tier cities.
VETA has trained over 4 lakh candidates through distance education programme. The Academy plans to open 250 franchisees all over the country by 2009 and presently 90 centres in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Pondicherry. It had already opened one in Vijayawada to be followed by Visakhapatnam.
