Says Congress may misuse its power

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday cautioned the party men against the Congress which might exploit its power in the coming local body elections.

Speaking at a public meeting, he said that the Congress had earlier misused power and it may repeat the same in the elections. He said that the UPA Government after came to power had increased the fuel prices for the sixth time in a short period. He said that the TDP and the Left Parties would be conducting a joint protest on June 13 in this regard demanding the Government to withdraw its move. He said that TDP will oppose the move to merge of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) with SAIL.
