Shops and establishments to remain closed
The State Government has declared paid holidays on June 28 and July 2 in the north coastal districts of Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam in view of local body elections. The shops and establishments will remain closed on these two days.
According to a press release issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Labour MN Varahala Reddy said that industrial undertakings and establishments which work on shift duty basis, the holiday will be only for the shift, during which, the poll is to be held.
