Drill part of Disaster control management plan

The Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Wednesday conducted a mock fire drill as per its Disaster Control Management Plant (DCMP). The DCMP is the preparedness to face any kind of emergency in its Visakha installation.

A surprise alarm was sounded that triggered the movement of men and machinery to combat fire and as soon as the fire fighting team opened the water mains, the fire engine poured water along with foam through the monitors and hydrants on the sea of the fire. Officials from other oil companies witnessed the events.
