Saplings planted at Kailasagiri Hills
Under the Urban Forestry scheme, the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) Chairman PSN Raju and staff have planted plants on Kalasagiri hill slopes on Saturday. The plan is to develop the usable space available on the hill with avenue plantations, providing street furniture and laying of promenades around the hill periphery.
The entire Kalasagiri hill has been surveyed and was helpful for earmarking suitable site for Telugu Culture and Heritage Museum. VUDA vice-chairman G.Venkataram Reddy and other officials participated in the function.
