Grama Panchayat sarpanches, unanimous, elections

The District Panchayat Officer L.Sridhar Reddy on Wednesday said that 75 grama panchayat sarpanches have been elected have been elected unanimously elected out of 93 villages in the district. About 2904 contestants are in the election rink for 858 sarpanch posts. The elections will not be held in the 11 gram panchayats as their tenure was not completed, he said.
