The Visakhapatnam District has won the State Junior Handball championship over West Godavari in the finals in Nellore. Nearly 23 teams have participated in the tournament.

The Municipal Commissioner, N Srikanth and State Volleyball Association President S Kodanadaramaiah congratulated the team on Saturday. Representatives of various sports organizations have congratulated the coach S Gopikrishna for giving excellent training according to a press release.
