Airtel comes up with Fixed Wireless Phones in Vizag

Mega-brand of services to be available in three models

Bharati Airtel Limited, one of the India's leading private Telecom service provider with as many as 24.58 million customers launched its Fixed Wireless Phone (FWP) named as 'Mega'. The service, operating in the GSM network is available in post-paid and pre-paid options on demand. A fully charged battery of the phone could go on for 48 hours and it can be moved from one place to another.

BAL's Chief Operating Officer (COO) Wsam Elangalloor said the city had as many as 1.5 lakh landline users of both BSNL and other private players and his company would concentrate on tapping as many customers as possible.

The call charges per minute is Rs. 1.20 per call to all local and intra-circle mobiles. They would also get launch offer of 150 minutes free calls every month to an Airtel mobile/Airtel landline. This offer would be valid for one year from the date of installation.
