Vizag now has a row of tourism projects

Tourism is poised for further growth with more resorts in the pipeline, District Collector, Praveen Prakash said. Senora Beach Resorts, Dream Health Resort, Indo-American Resorts, an NRI project, Theme Park, Water Sports, Three-Star hotels at Gajuwaka and wayside amenities near Kartikavanam were some of the venues proposed he said that the Tourism Promotion Council meeting on Friday. He called on for an intensive campaign on the places of tourist importance in the city and district.

The District Collector called upon the Industrial houses, Business establishment and Trade Associations to provide wage employment to 3500 identified Girijan Youth hailing from remote villages. The youth would be imparted necessary technical and personality development training to make them suitable for employment. Police Commissioner, VSK Kaumudi said tribal youth should be encouraged by providing them gainful employment. Representatives participating in the meeting from various fields have expressed readiness to provide employment.
