Awards to be presented on World Heritage Day

The Indian National Trust for Arts and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has invited entries for granting of awards into various categories. The awards will be presented to the winners on the World Heritage Day on April 16. Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the INTACH co convener G.Srinivasa Murty and coordinator I. Jagga Row said that the objective in giving awards was to recognize selfless service by dedicated and committed individuals and institutions which would go a long way to take the noble cause.

The Vizag Heritage Awards were launched last year and the first award was given to SS Roberts of Bheemunipatnam for his contribution towards promoting the heritage sites of Bheemunipatnam. More details can be had from Ms.Jagga Row on telephone number 0891-251864.
