Employees and workers of factories and establishments in all areas falling within the revenue mandals of Paravada, Gajuwaka and Pedagantyada will be extended benefits under the Employees State Insurance (ESI) scheme with effect from February 1. The ESI Corporation Joint Director, R.Parthasarathy said on Saturday that the Union Government had extended the provisions of the ESI Act to the above areas except those revenue villages which has already been covered by the ESI scheme by provisions notifications.
Mr. Parthasarathy appealed to all the employers in the newly covered areas to register their factories/establishments with the Sub Regional Office, ESI Corporation, Padmanabha Buildings, Gandhinagar, Vijayawada.
