Blood banks need to provide blood for certain patients free of cost

Drugs Inspector R Udayabhaskar said that the 30% of the unscreened blood units collected in the blood donation camps by the permitted blood banks in the city should be handed to the Government blood banks within three to four days of the conduction of the camp. Also, Permitted Blood Banks in the city should now provide blood free of cost for thalassaemia and haemophilia patients.
