Special pricing for existing Internet subscribers taking new connection from BSNL

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will waive rental for two months on new registrations for a broadband connection. For the new Home 250 plan, 256 kbps speed and 400 Mb free volume will be provided at a monthly rent of Rs.250. In addition to two months rental waiver, ADSL modems will be available on rental basis at Rs.100 per month.

Customers have to submit proof of existing dial up account with a BSNL landline. Internet dial up account of other Internet Service Providers will also be allowed for conversion. According to a BSNL spokesman, the last date for the offer is extended to January 31 and BSNL would not collect installation charges and security deposits.
