Would join other international agencies for observatory on moon
India will be launching more satellites soon. India is also joining with other international agencies for setting up an observatory on moon. This was stated by UR Rao, Chairman of Advisory Committee on Space (ADCOS) at the inauguration of the 14th National Space Science Symposium (NSSS 2006) at Visakhapatnam.
Speaking at the program, he said that the committee has formed four groups which will be submitting their report. The groups were Astronomy and Astrophysics, Planetary Exploration and Science, Solar Terrestial Science Space Veda and Climate Science.
