Samples sent to New Delhi for testing

Doping tests are being conducted on some weightlifters who have come to participate in the 59th men’s and 22nd women’s National Weightlifting Championships which are underway at the Swarnabharati Indoor Stadium.

This is the first instance wherein the urine samples were taken from the players who are yet to take part in the scheduled events. The samples had been sent for doping tests at New Delhi.
