Censor Board to adhere to regulations before certification

Participating as a chief guest in a seminar on ‘The Role of Media on Students’, Professor Nirmala, Department of Law, Andhra University (AU) opined that obscenity in movies and television channels are influencing students on their studies.

The seminar was held at the district girls’ convention at Women’s Degree College on Friday. Professor Manjulatha of Zoology department of AU felt that the Censor Board should critically adhere to regulations before giving certification to movies and television programmes.
