Mean to eradicate blindness
The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) as a part of its commitment to provide quality life to those residing in its areas has launched ‘Operation Jyothi’ to eradicate blindness. The VSP Director (Personnel) KA Naidu has inaugurated the medical camp at the Community Welfare Centre at Vadlapudi. This programme was organized by the Welfare department of the VSP in association with the Vizag Steel City Lions Club.
On this occasion, he said that the VSP conducted various programmes as part of Corporate Commitment of VSP and more such camps would be organized and the doctors of the VSP will provide free medical treatment and also perform operations to the needy. The Doctors have examined nearly 250 patients in the camp.
