Greater need to pursue research in all communication specialization
National Conference on ‘Advanced Communication Technologies’ (ACT)-2006 organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Andhra University inaugurated on Friday. Prof. Allam Apparao urged the students to carry out research in electromagnetic penetrations through human body in different issues.
Speaking on the occasion, Director of NSTL Bhujanga Rao observed that there is a great need to pursue research in all communication specialization like satellite, mobile, underwater and other technologies. BN Das of IIT Khargapur spoke about the research that should go to industry from institutes to higher learning. Chairman of the conference GSN Raju presided over the inaugural function More than 90 experts from IITs, IISc, DRDO, NIT and various universities across the country participated in the function.
